Richard LaPlant

Farmington: Passed away on July 26, 2015 at age 47.  Richard is survived by his wife of 21 years, Donna LaPlant; sons, Brandon and Christopher LaPlant; parents, Shirley and Larry LaPlant; brother, Loren (Kellie) LaPlant; mother and father-in-law, John and Nancy McGurk; brother-in-law, John (Cheryl) and Denis (Elaine) McGurk; sister-in-law, Laura (Dave) Levine; nieces and nephews, Jacob, Joshua, Austin, Addison, Elena, Hannah, Mikey and a baby on board; dog, Bucko.

Richard loved working on cars, traveling and cooking.  Above all Richard loved to spend time with his family.  He will be truly missed.

Friends may join the family on Thursday (July 30) from 12-2 PM at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 Rte. 31, Macedon, NY 14502.  Richard's graveside service will be held on Thursday (July 30) at 3:30 PM at Macedon Center Cemetery, Canandaigua Rd., Macedon, NY 14502.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Richard's name may be made to Brandon and Christopher education trust fund, c/o Donna LaPlant, at Lyons National Bank, 359 NYS Rte. 31, Macedon, NY 14502.
