Richard Douglas Meade, age 74, passed away peacefully at home after a year-long battle with brain cancer. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Francine Young Meade; daughter, Jonatha Leigh Meade; son, Brian Richard Meade and wife, Micky Levy; his only sibling, Bradley Morse Meade Jr. and wife, Laura Smith; and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his father, Bradley Morse Meade Sr. and mother, Frances Schott Meade.

Rick worked in financial services and cared deeply about helping his clients achieve fiscal security. His real passion was boating and he was an active member of Sodus Bay Yacht Club for many years.
