Lyons – Robert passed away on March 16, 2026 at age 85. He was born to the late Egbert and Frances Carpenter. He was also predeceased by his wife, Rose Carpenter; sisters, Jean Sandra; brothers, Chris and Jimmy; son, Jay.

Robert is survived by his children, Helen Calus, Emily (Steve) Fisher, Scott (Karen) Carpenter, Amy (Lenny) Miller, Peggy Carpenter, Paula Carpenter, and Lisa Carpenter; brothers, David (Linda) Carpenter, Floyd (Bonnie) Carpenter, Albert Carpenter; sister, Edna (Bob) Bender; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friends, Helen Breezee and Don Calus.

Robert was a great father, who was always willing to help his children and anyone who needed a hand. He had a great sense of humor and always made people laugh. Robert retired from RTS where he worked as a bus driver.

A memorial service for Robert will be held on Wednesday (March 25), 2 PM at Bible Baptist Church of Williamson, 6463 Salmon Creek Rd., Williamson, NY 14589.
