Robert L. DeSmith

Monroe, NC: Formerly of Williamson, NY.  Robert was surrounded by his family when he was called home to be with his heavenly Father on Wednesday April 8, 2015, after an extended illness.  He was predeceased by his daughter, Kelli; parents, John and Margret.  Robert is survived by his wife of 49 years, Julie; son, Robert Jr.; daughters, Karen and Kim; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.

Robert retired from Garlock after 34 years.  The family would like to thank the Hospice House of Union County for their care.

Robert's funeral service will be held on Saturday (April 11) at 11 AM at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 123 East Jackson St., Palmyra, NY.  His burial will take place in Palmyra Cemetery.  To leave the family a condolence, please visit www.murphyfuneralservices.com .
