West Walworth: Bob passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, April 4th, 2023 at the age of 90. Bob was born on December 30th, 1932. Predeceased by his wife of 60 years Helen Turcotte and Daughter Roberta Turcotte. He is survived by his daughters, Janice (Jim Gonyeau) Ridgway, Patricia (Mike) Hecht, Judy (Les Medley) Turcotte; grandchildren: Shawn Ridgway, Patrick Ridgway, Nicholas Ridgway, Danielle Capizzi, Alyson (Mike) Martin, Bryana (Robert Peia) Capizzi, Selena Turcotte, Tyler Hecht, and Elijah Turcotte; great grandchildren: Carter and Liam Ridgway and Carsen Baum, Barrett Ridgway, and Riley Ramos; friends Mary Earlandt and Noel Kessler; extended family and friends. Bob served in the United States Army as a Corporal in the Cold War. He entered the Army in 1953 as an army medic at the station in Salzburg Austria at camp Truscott at 109th Field Hospital which was later changed to the U.S. Army Hospital. He was a member of the West Walworth Fire Department for over sixty years. He enjoyed his neighbors and spent a lifetime offering assistance to anyone in need. Bob was a member of the Macedon Senior Citizens group. He loved spending time with his family and friends. All are invited to join the family for a time of visitation on Friday, April 14th, 2023 from 4-7PM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1961 Ridge Road, Ontario, NY 14519. Bob's Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 10AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Gebhardt Road, Penfield, NY 14526. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Baird Road, Penfield, NY.
