Farmington – Robert passed away on April 16, 2025.  He was born to the late Heinrich and Herta Hapke and is also predeceased by his son, John Hapke; granddaughter, Julianne McDermott . Robert is survived by his wife of 62 years, Doris; children, Jeffrey, Kenneth (Judy), Ric (Lynn), and Larry (Carol) Hapke; grandchildren, Tara (Dylan), Laura (Nick), Leah, Austin, Jessica, Rea, and Tina; great grandchildren, James, Joel, Jayden, Kiera, Nova, Ayden, Lincoln, Justina, Richie, Jason, Ali, Avery, and Tony; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  He retired from Gleason Works after 33 years of service. Family and friends may gather for visitation from 4-7 PM on Monday (April 28) at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 Rte. 31, Macedon, NY 14502, where a prayer service will be held at 7 PM. Robert will be laid to rest in Macedon Village Cemetery on Tuesday (April 29) at 11 AM (Please meet at the cemetery).
