Robert Michael Taber "Bob"

Fairport/Macedon: Died peacefully on June 14, 2025 after battling dementia.  He was born on December 27, 1945 and spent his life loving his family and volunteering in his community. Bob graduated from Brighton High School in 1964.  He then went on to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps.  After his service he worked at Eastman Kodak Company for 32 years.  Following his retirement from Kodak he worked at the Fairport School District as a bus driver for many years.  Bob was an active member of the Macedon Fire Department for 47 years.  He continued his love for fire apparatus as a member of Genesse Valley SPAAMFAA for many years.  He and his family were regular participants at fire musters showing off their antique fire truck and ambulance.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Fuzzy; children Robert (Debbie), Karyn, grandchildren Trisha (Evan) and Justin.  Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours from 11AM to 1PM,  with services to follow, on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 State Route 31, Macedon NY 14502.
