"Bob"

Macedon/Palmyra:  Bob passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the age of 70.  He was predeceased by his parents Hugh and Kathleen Pierce; son, Michael Pierce; mother-in-law Hilda Wilbur and father-in-law Elwyn Wilbur.  Bob is survived by his wife of fifty years, Jan; sons, Craig (Carol) Pierce and Blair Pierce; grandchildren, Ashley Pierce, Joshua Pierce, Nicole (Anthony) Zawacki, Robert Pierce, Kenny Pierce and Harlen Pierce; special friend Mackenzie Ryman; brothers, Dale (Janet), Gary (Linda), and Lee (Susan) Pierce, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Bob was born on February 2, 1945 in Woodhall, NY to the late Hugh and Kathleen "Braun" Pierce.  He worked for 39 1/2 years for Xerox Corporation as a mechanic/troubleshooter. He had a great ability to identify a problem with a motor, and make the necessary adjustments to get it to operate properly.  Aside from his loyal years of service with Xerox, Bob enjoyed collecting Coca Cola memorabilia, gardening, NASCAR and his grandchildren.  He lived in the Macedon/Palmyra area for the past fifty years.  He will be missed but fondly remembered by those who loved him.

Friends and family are invited to gather for a time of visitation on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 5-8PM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1040 State Route 31, Macedon, NY 14502 where a service to celebrate Bob's life will be offered on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 2PM.  Interment will follow at the Macedon Village Cemetery.  Memorials in Bob's name may be directed to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450.  Online condolences may be left at www.murphyfuneralservices.com .
