Robert J. Sanders

Pittsford – Robert passed away on May 18, 2021 at age 73.  He was predeceased by his parents, Jesse Ray and Marian Sanders; brother, James Sanders.

Robert is survived by his wife of 50 years, Suzanne Sanders; daughters, Kathryn Sanders Connolly and Louisa Marie Sanders; sister, Carol Sanders; many nieces and nephews.

Robert was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He's touched many people with his compassion, humor, warmth, patience and generosity. Robert lived and enjoyed his art through music, nature, and palette. His creativity and craftsmanship are reflected throughout his painting and detailed design work and his pieces will be treasured. His art will live on through the other artists he has inspired and supported. Robert inspired us all with his kindness for animals and concern for the world and all the beings in it. He never met a dog he didn't like!
