Robin M. Waldron

Hannibal – Formerly of Palmyra, NY, passed away on June 8, 2023 at age 53.

Robin is survived by her parents, Jim and Judy Deagman; husband, Dave Waldron; siblings, Michele Reed and Chris (Joanna) Deagman; 2 step-children, Ashley (RJ) Waldron and Jeffrey (Daria) Waldron; 5 grandchildren; beloved nieces, Sydney, Olivia, Sophie and nephew, Ferris, aunts, and uncles.

Robin (Bird) always had to keep up with her big sister and brother in all things and fell in love with sports. She was one of the first girls to join Little League when it opened to girls. Robin proved herself to be committed, hardworking and dedicated to whatever she was involved in and a dynamo for a person of her stature.  She didn't do anything half way and excelled at whatever she attempted.  There really wasn't anything she would not try.  She owned every piece of athletic equipment from a bowling ball to snowshoes.

Robin was so proud of her nieces and nephew and kept up with their lives and activities. When she married Dave, she was welcomed into his family, accepted and loved by 2 stepchildren, 5 grandchildren, 3 brothers-in-law and their families, pops and Pat.  Robin rescued her beloved dog Diesel who was her constant companion.  Her love for animals and all things nature was boundless.  We couldn't drive by Lollypop without stopping in. Robin always knew she wanted to be a physical therapist, she started her college studies at Ohio State and acquired her Masters degree at the University of Buffalo.  After traveling for several years as a physical therapist to NM, ID, CT and NC she returned to Rochester and began her time at Monroe Community Hospital.  She loved working with the senior community and they loved her.

She had a sunshine smile and a hello for everyone she encountered.  She was spirited, loved to laugh, dance, sing, and spend time with her families. Rest in peace. We will always miss and love you, sweet Robin.

Family and friends may gather for visitation from 4-7 PM on Monday (June 19) at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 Rte. 31, Macedon, NY 14502.  There will be a private family interment. The family would like to invite friends to a continued celebration of Robin's life on Tuesday (June 20), 12 PM at Flaherty's Restaurant, 113 Pittsford Palmyra Rd., Macedon, NY 14502.
