Roderick L. Kendall Shortsville - Rod passed away on December 24, 2022 at age 57. He was predeceased by his parents, Allen and Jane Kendall; sisters, Kathy Donohgue and Linda Kendall; uncle, Don Kendall. Rod is survived by his daughter, Nicole Kendall; special friends, Ed and Lola Duchesneau; extended family and friends. Rod was a graduate of Marion High School, class of 1983. He graduated as valedictorian of his class. Rod was a very talented craftsman and built his own house. He enjoyed being outdoors, often hunting, fishing, and skiing. Family and friends may gather for visitation from 4-6 PM on Thursday (December 29) at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 Rte. 31, Macedon, NY 14502. A graveside service for Rod will be held at 9:30 AM, Friday (December 30) at Palmyra Village Cemetery, 272 Vienna St., Palmyra, NY 14522 (Meet at the grave).
