Roger Michael Carpenter
Victor: Passed away peacefully at the age of 78 on May 23, 2025, with family by his side, after a long, and courageous, battle with his health. Predeceased by his parents, he is survived by his loving Wife of 35 years Kathryn; Sister Lynn (Robert) Steamer; children, Christopher (Lisa) Podgorski, Michelle (Kevin) DeMar, Robert Emerick, Melissa Kembrey and Phillip Carpenter; grandchildren Paul, David, Bryan, Eric; great grandchildren, Renee, Conner and Aaliyah; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Roger was a patriotic Marine who loved his God and country. He was a devoted, and dedicated, member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Roger enjoyed fishing and hunting. As a longtime season ticket holder for the Rochester Americans, and Buffalo Bills, he enjoyed attending many games. After a lifelong career at Xerox, he enjoyed travelling with his Wife on many cruises before being stricken by illness.
Family, and friends, are invited to attend his celebration of life on Friday, June 6, 2025, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 153 Church Avenue, Farmington, NY. Visitation will be from 10:00AM to 11:0AM; service at 11:00AM, reception immediately following. Interment will be private. Donations in memory of Roger may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church .
