Ronald A. Fannon

Palmyra - Passed away on 10/8/2021 in his 85th year at Newark Wayne Community Hospital. Ron was born in Detroit, MI to his parents, Leonard A. and Florence Fannon on 11/4/1936.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Florence Fannon, and his daughter Lauri Ann Erdle.

Ron is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carol Ann, his children, Brian (Maryellen) Fannon, Shawn Fannon, and Michelle (Greg) Weiss. Grandchildren, Matthew (Colby) Fannon, Thomas Fannon, Gabrielle, Gary, and Grace Weiss, Andrew Erdle, Ann Erdle, and Kathrine (Benjamin) Mitchell. His siblings Nancy (Louis) Peco, Jim (Barbara) Fannon Carol Clark, Patti (Jim) Rooney as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephew. He also has many wonderful friends and extended acquaintances.

Ron's passion for woodworking led him to start his own craftsman business "A Hand for All Reasons" (AHFAR)

He was a lover of CB and Ham radio, sailing, photography, classical, instrumental, jazz, and soft rock music throughout his life. He also built his and Carol's "House in the Woods" which he surrounded with several beautiful flower gardens and plentiful vegetable gardens. He truly enjoyed entertaining friends and family there.

Family and friends may gather for visitation from 4-7 PM on Thursday (October 14) at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 Rte. 31, Macedon, NY 14502.  A graveside service for Ron will be held on Friday (October 15), 11 AM at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Rd., Pittsford, NY 14534 (Please meet at the main entrance).  In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to The Alzheimer's Association, or to a charity of your choice.
