Fairport – Ronald passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on January 19. He was predeceased by his parents, David & Bernice Matteson; brothers, Donald and Elden Matteson; granddaughter Shelly Yesul.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ann; children, Mark (Kelly) Matteson, Amy Yesul, Nancy (Ted) Beutel, and Michael (Karen) Matteson; grandchildren, Justin Nohle, Tiffany Matteson, Andrew (Silvia) Yesul, Collin Matteson, Conner (Stephanie) Matteson, and Patrick Matteson; great grandchildren, Katrina Purcell, Amber Purcell, and Cayden Roark; brother, Leo (Marie) Matteson.

Family and friends may gather for visitation from 4-7 PM on Wednesday, January 24 at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 Rte. 31, Macedon, NY 14502. A funeral service will be held immediately following calling hours at 7 PM. There will also be a celebration of life held on Saturday, January 27th, at First Baptist Church, 119 West Elm Street, East Rochester, NY 14445, at 12:00 pm.  Ronald will be laid to rest in Whitesville Rural Cemetery in the Spring.
