Ronald Alan Nicklaw

Palmyra:  Passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016 at the age of 57.  He was born on October 22, 1957 in Rochester, NY.  He was predeceased by his sister Debbie Nicklaw and brother Bruce Nicklaw.  He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Heather; daughter Christina Nicklaw and sons Zachary Alan (Andrea) Nicklaw and Alexander Jacob Nicklaw; granddaughter Karina Miley Bray; parents, Howard and Patricia Nicklaw; sister, Karen (James) Wingate; brother, Howard Nicklaw; niece, Melissa Harper; extended family and many friends.

Ronald loved music and especially playing the guitar.  He also enjoyed fishing.  Probably his greatest joy in life was his granddaughter Karina.  The two were "best buddies" as she would tell her "Ga" (grandpa).  Ronald had spent the last several years working with the Palmyra-Macedon Central Schools in maintenance.

Friends and family are invited to join together for a time of visitation on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 3-6PM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 123 East Jackson Street, Palmyra, NY 14522 where a service will follow at 6PM.  Memorials may be made in Ronald's memory to the Palmyra-Macedon Dollars for Scholars, PO Box 66, Palmyra, NY 14522.  Online condolences may be left at www.murphyfuneralservices.com .
