Roy A. Lang

Williamson:  Passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024 at Strong Memorial Hospital at the age of 67.  Roy was born on September 25, 1957 in Rochester, NY.  He was the son of the late Richard and Bernice Lang.  He was a 1976 graduate of Wayne Central High School.  Roy is survived by his son Austin Lang; brother Rick (Lynn) Lang; sister Bonnie (Steve) Hyman; brother Rob Lang; three nieces, Nicole Hyman, Breanna Hyman and Krystal (Mike) Lang; great niece Sayde; several cousins, extended family and friends.

Roy worked most of his life at the Genesee Brewing Company in Rochester.  He loved hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and anything to do with cars.   He was a longtime member of the Shelby Mustang Club of Rochester.  He loved driving his vintage shelby around the Watkins Glen Motor Speedway each year when the club would rent the track for members to enjoy.

Family and friends are invited to gather together at the  Ontario American Legion Hall Post #428, Meyers-Ingraham Memorial Corp., Ontario, NY 14519, on Saturday, January 4, 2025, 4:30PM, to celebrate the life of Roy Lang.  Memorials in memory of Roy may be directed to Adult Palliative Care Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital , or the Wayne County Humane Society .
