Ruth passed away, February 16, 2024 at 93 and is predeceased by her husband of more than 60 years, Fred Williams; son, Jim Williams; and parents, Fred & Jessie Neubauer.  Ruth is survived by her daughter and son-in law Cathy & Rich Haywood; grandchildren, Matthew Williams, Fritz Haywood, Rachel Haywood; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Ruth graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University, was a second grade teacher and also worked at IBM before having children and becoming a homemaker in the late 1950's.  Ruth enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her German Shepherds, most recently Ruby and her grand puppy Barron. In earlier years, Ruth was a Compeer Volunteer and spent years boating, skiing, golfing and traveling.  Ruth spent her last years at St. Johns Hawthorne where she made many new friends and enjoyed books clubs, playing games and social events.

Ruth was a compassionate and fun loving soul who enjoyed her journey in life.  Ruth will be missed by all who knew her.  Her family will have many beautiful memories, especially of the poems Ruth wrote to each of us for many different occasions.
