Samuel Rivera, 83, of Macedon, New York, passed away on February 23, 2023, from lung disease as he was surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his son Sammy Jr. Samuel is survived by his wife Colleen Rivera; Daughter Fae (Daran) Shipley; Sons Luis (Tammy) Rivera, Edward (Bonnie) Rivera, Jerry Rivera, Michael (Rebecca) Teeter, and Jerry Teeter. Grandchildren Nicole (Aaron) Carr, Hope Rivera, Adam Rivera, Justin (Samantha) Lucia, Tylina Hill, Jackie Hill, Justin Dorchester, Mariah (Victor) Robles, and Travis Teeter. Many great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 1-4 PM at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1040 Route 31, Macedon, New York 14502. There will be a small gathering for family and friends after visiting hours at the Evergreen office, 3258 Pine Terrace, Macedon, New York 14502. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
