Sandra Lea Nicoll

Newark – Sandra unexpectedly passed away on January 5, 2023. She was predeceased, by her parents, Norman and Marjorie Swanson; brother, Bret Swanson.

Sandra is survived by her husband of 40 years, Steven Nicoll; sister-in-law, Elaine (Al) Cangiarella; brother-in-law, William (Ellen) Nicoll; nieces, Sarah and Kellie Nicoll.

Sandy grew up, and spent most of her life in Webster NY, moving to Newark in 2009. She was employed at Dickinson Animal Hospital for 40 years. Sandy loved painting, arts, crafts, cooking, and gardening. Sandy was an animal lover, especially her beloved dog breed, the Gordon Setter. An accomplished breeder using the kennel name of Leadra Gordons, Sandy loved dog showing and showing her dogs. Sandy loved being an instructor for the Genesee Valley Kennel Club classes and mentoring those involved with dog showing.

Family and friends may gather for visitation from 4-7 PM on Thursday (January 19th) at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 Rte. 31, Macedon, NY 14502.
