IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sandra J.
Rudgers
August 21, 1938 – June 8, 2025
Sandra "Sandy" Rudgers, 86 years old, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 8, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Sandy was born August 21,1938 in Batavia, New York, to Earle and Virginia Rudgers. She was predeceased by her parents Earle and Virginia Rudgers; and brother Charles Rudgers; and her loving son Arnold Rudgers.
Sandy is survived by her daughters, Lorelei Pyles, and Roxanne Pyles (Tim McMullen); beloved grandchildren Neil, Stacey, Lauren, and Christopher; great-grandchildren Alexis, Natalie, Brayden, Raina, Abel, and Haiden; Great-Great Grandson Ramiel. She is also leaving behind many beloved nieces and nephews who brought her much joy over the years. Sandy is also survived by her beloved brother Spike (Earle) Rudgers, and sister-in-law Sandy, - affectionately known as "the other Sandy". Sandy will always be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her humor, and her unmistakable honesty. She found joy in simple pleasures like enjoying a hot dog and sundae, especially during those rides in the Jeep with the top down. The water held a special place in her heart, particularly when it came to boat rides or swimming. Among her favorite things were adorable kitties, beautiful flowers, and savoring a cool beer or a glass of her beloved Peach Wine. Christmas was a time of such enjoyment for her, as she delighted in decorating her tree! The annual shopping trips to find gifts for everyone filled her with so much happiness.
If Heaven has a bar, Sandy is there with her brother and her son, toasting to all that loved and remember her! And she is going to take all the cats that come across the Rainbow Bridge and spoil them relentlessly!
A special thank you to all that cared for her at Wayne County Nursing Home, she was known as quite the character and kept them on their toes! Their compassion was unending.
