Sherri A. Metcalfe

Cheektowaga: Sherri passed away on April 6, 2018 at age 68. She was born in Bakersfield, CA to the late James and Rose Barton. Sherri was also predeceased by her son, SFC Daniel Metcalfe. She is survived by her children, James Metcalfe and Debi (Joe) Hill; daughter-in-law, Vesna Metcalfe; grandchildren, Kayln, Alexis, Edward, Max and Ethan; siblings, Susan (Dennis), James, Linda and Lori; several nieces and nephews.

Sherri proudly served her country in the United States Army. She loved to give back to veterans and worked for the VA for over 30 years. Sherri's grandchildren were most important to her and she loved spending time with them.

Family and friends may join for a time of visitation from 5-7 PM on Wednesday (April 11) at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 Rte. 31, Macedon, NY 14502.
