Shirley Ann Raufeisen  "Shirl"

Farmington:   Passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at the age of 87.  Shirl was born on April 3, 1935 in Rochester, NY to the late John and Irene DeRycke.  She is predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Ronald R. Raufeisen who passed away on February 20, 2022; sister Sylvia Wyman and brother John DeRycke.  She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Sue (Len) Bennett, many nieces, nephews extended family and friends.

Shirl was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Macedon.  She was an active member in the social ministry for many years.  Shirl was also an active volunteer for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  Her commitment to, and volunteer efforts, earned Shirl a trip to Tennessee where she was able to meet Danny Thomas and received an award in recognition of her years of volunteer work to help the children who receive care at no expense to the family.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a time of visitation on Friday, June 10, 2022 from 10-11 AM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1040 State Route 31, Macedon, NY 14502.  A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 11:30AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 52 Main Street (Route 31), Macedon, NY 14502.  Interment will follow at Mt.
