Williamson – Shirley passed away on March 5, 2024.  She was predeceased by her husband, Jan Leaty.

Shirley is survived by her four children, Mary Jane (Butch) Bills, Jan (Julia) Leaty, Stephen (Debbie) Leaty and Laura Leaty; grandchildren Abby, Alicia, Ashley, Katherine, Michael, Michelle, Shannon, Stephen; great grandchildren Alyssa, Austin, Brayden, Emani, Ella, Kobe, Leaha, Landon, Luis Jr., Mason, Madelyn, Maddox, Michael Jr., Olivia, Ryker, Spencer; sister, Nancy Brown; several nieces, nephews, and her beloved dog, Otto.

Shirley had a constant and heartwarming smile and always greeted you with it. She worked as a secretary for Williamson Central School District for many years and was involved with many local organizations. She was an avid reader and puzzle master.  She loved to travel and camp, especially in the Adirondacks. Then in retirement years Jan and Shirley wintered in Florida and made many close friends there. Most of all she was a loving wife and the best Mom ever.

A celebration of Shirley's life will be held on Saturday (April 6), 2 PM - 4PM at Konstantinou's Restaurant, 2030 Rte. 104, Ontario, NY 14519. Contributions in memory of Shirley may be directed to St. Jude Children Hospital, stjude.org or Wayne County Humane Society, 1475 County House Rd., Lyons, NY 14489.
