Stephen White, 67, of Palmyra, NY passed away peacefully December 20, 2023 surrounded by loved ones.  He was born February 29, 1956 in Malone, NY to Dorothy Forkey and Howard (Sonny) White.  Steve is preceded by both his parents, sisters Jerilyn Aubrey, Julie Lent and Jackie Herr.

Steve is survived by daughters Angie (Tim) Sawe, Carrie (Joseph) Matarese, Brittany (Clinton) McGrath; step-father Samuel Forkey; brother Danny (Carol) White; sisters Joy (Chuck) Baker, and Jennie Boyle.  He also leaves behind his significant other Sharon Smith and her daughters Jody (Rick) Matteson and Jackie (Tom) Steines in addition to several grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.   Unexpectedly, ten days after the passing of Steve, his daughter Brittany McGrath passed away in an automobile accident on December 30, 2023.

Steve was a talented carpenter.  He was happiest when in his workshop creating his next masterpiece with his favorite music playing.  He enjoyed going to the local dinner in the mornings for breakfast and coffee.  While he was still able he loved golfing, bowling and riding his motorcycle.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024 11:00 am at the Macedon Center Cemetery, 2715 Canandaigua Rd., Macedon, NY 14502.
