Susan Sunter

Rochester – Susan entered peacefully into rest on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at the age of 71. Born February 25, 1952 in Chester, Pennsylvania she was a daughter of the late George and Esther (Malick) Balock of Ashland, PA.

On October 17, 1970, she married William E. Sunter. They recently celebrated 53 years of love and companionship. Susan worked for Coors in Boulder, Colorado before retiring to become a stay-at-home mom.

Mrs. Sunter was predeceased by her parents and siblings, George Balock, David Balock and brother-in-law James Stafford. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Bill, daughter Alison Marsh, Granddaughter Lula Marsh, her sisters Elizabeth Stafford, Marsha (Pat) Isham, brother Steve Balock and sister-in-law Desera Balock. Along with numerous nieces, grand-nieces, nephews, grand-nephews who also brought her much joy.

There will not be any public services. The family will celebrate Susan's life privately at a later date.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Seeturtles,  www.seeturtles.org . A cause to those that knew her was near and dear to her heart.
