Macedon: Suzanne passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024, with her sister by her side. She was predeceased by her father, John M. Gregory; her mother, Sarah (Davis) Tolhurst; and her brother, John M. Gregory.

She is survived by her loving son, James M. Gears; her sister, Maryjo (Bruce) Hopkins; and her cherished nephews, Nathan (Lorin Cyrkin) Hopkins and Matthew (Hillary) Hopkins, as well as several great-nephews and a great niece. Suzanne also leaves behind her maternal aunt, Lynn Orivivo, and numerous cousins who will remember her fondly.

Suzanne had a deep appreciation for nature, often finding solace in her backyard, where she would enjoy the sights and sounds of the birds and local wildlife. Nature's beauty filled her soul, offering her moments of peace and reflection. Creative at heart, she spent countless hours crafting beautiful baby quilts for friends and family celebrating new beginnings. Each stitch reflected her warmth and care for family and friends welcoming new life into the world.
