Palmyra: Mike passed away on Friday September 25, 2015. He was predeceased by his brothers, Ronald and Richard VanHout.
Mike is survived by his wife, Jean VanHout; children, Valerie (Randy) Schwartz, Diane Harder, Gerald (Laurie) VanHout and Maria (Bernie) McKelson; grandchildren, Ryan (Jackie) and Jason (Liz) Welch, Samantha and Meghan VanHout, Eric and Amanda Schwartz; great grandchildren; siblings, Roy (Donna), Donald (Nancy), Gerald (Charlotte) and John (Denise) VanHout, Alice (Tom) Coomber, Shirley (David) Jones, Laura (Art) Brown, Gloria (Carl) Spencer and Nancy Blankenberg; sister-in-law, Terry Kibble; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A memorial service for Mike will be held on Wednesday (September 30) at 4 PM at Cross Creek Church, 3700 Rte. 31, Palmyra, NY 14522. Contributions in Mike's name may be directed to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd. Fairport, NY 14450 or American Heart Association, 25 Circle St. #102, Rochester, NY 14607.
