Thomas J. Carroll died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on January 30, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Tom was born on 8/11/1955 to the late Lewis and Margaret Carroll. He is also predeceased by his sister, Patricia Carroll, and brother Brian Carroll. Tom is survived by his son, Patrick Carroll, daughter, Kathleen Carroll Forray (Scott), granddaughters, Brielle Forray and Avery Forray, brothers Michael (Carol Podgorski) Carroll, Kevin (Judi) Carroll and Timothy Carroll, nephews, great nephews, cousins, countless friends and co-workers.

Tom was a loving father and grandfather. He was a boy scout growing up and very proud of the fact that he was an Eagle Scout. He was a graduate of Palmyra Macedon High School and worked at Dolomite stone quarry for 40 years.

Tom had a passion for cars and enjoyed helping when he could with the Breen Brothers and their race car at Spencer Speedway. He enjoyed driving around the countryside in his truck. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting. Tom was a very accomplished archer winning numerous competitions.

A celebration of Tom's life will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at the Palmyra American Legion Post #120 at 132 Cuyler Street, Palmyra, NY 14522 from 1:00-4:00 pm.
