Tom Ragan passed away peacefully on June 4, 2024, at the age of 67. Tom was born in Rochester, New York.  He was pre-deceased by his parents, Richard T. Ragan and Patricia Hanoven Ragan.

Tom brightened every room he stepped into, bringing his infectious smile and his gift of integrating humor into nearly every situation. He shared an uncanny ability to recount and tell a story which allowed his unique humor to touch all who were listening.

Tom was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. His favorite times were those spent with his family.  Most notably, were the times creating and sharing continuous joy and laughter with his two beautiful grandchildren, Taylor and Jack. These times, and seemingly all others, were enhanced by his beloved dog Stella who was always at his side.

Tom was a truly skilled craftsman. He was an electrician by trade but master of all; he especially excelled at fine woodwork. He took great pride in his work, not only in his years at Kodak, but also the wonderful improvements he made to his home. Tom also had a lifelong love for the game of hockey. He played at the Lakeshore Arena for many years and instilled his passion for the game in his son Sean.

Tom leaves behind his lifelong love; wife Marcia. He was the proud father of his beloved son Sean and daughter-in-law Jamie (Germano), and proud grandfather of Taylor and Jack. He also leaves his dear sisters Kathleen Beatty (Kevin) and Anne Cristo (Daniel); brother-in-law, Jack Mazor (Stephanie Miller); and his cherished dog Stella. He is also survived by many very close cousins as well as friends, new and old. Family and friends were Tom's life.

On Sunday, June 23rd, all who knew Tom are welcomed to celebrate his life at Shamrock Jack's Irish Pub, 4554 Culver Road, Rochester, NY 14622 from 11am-3pm.
