Valaria A. Ashton            "Val"

Victor:  Passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the age of 81.  Val was born on August 1, 1934 to the late Walter and Erna "Leuders" Deunsing.  She was predeceased by her husband  William N. Ashton in 1983; brothers Arlo and Laverne Duensing.  She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Tim) Simonson; son, Bill ( Jody Carmel) Ashton; grandchildren, Amanda (Andy) Stephens, Cortney Miller, Nikole (Rob Ingalsbe) Carmel and Joshua Carmel; great grandchildren, Isabelle, Isiah and Liliana Stephens, Landon and Savannah Ingalsbe; dear niece, Karen Cota; sisters, Arlene House and JoAnne (George) Thompson; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Val retired after thirty plus years of employment with Monroe BOCES in Perinton.  Her greatest enjoyment came from her grandchildren.  Her family says how much she enjoyed seeing them and going to their acitivities.  She never missed one of their sporting events.  Val was very independent and spent more than thirty years as a widow.  She will be missed but remembered fondly by her family.
