Walton, Viola Heald     "Aunt Vi"

Palmyra:  Passed away on February 4, 2014 at the age of 88.  Born on June 29, 1925, in Sodus, NY, to John R. and Anna N. (Bennett) Heald.  Viola was predeceased by her parents; husband Harvey L. Walton, Jr.; step-daughter Jean Walton Williams; sisters and spouses, Thelma (Thurlow) Robbins and Mildred (Winfred) Cheetham.  Survived by step-grand and great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews other family and dear friends.

Viola was a 1944 graduate of Sodus High School.  She worked for Garlock Industries for 37 years and was a member of the Old Timers Club.  Viola had been a member of the Palmyra and Williamson Senior Citizens Clubs and was a life associate member of the Sampson WWII Navy Veterans Auxillary.

There will be no calling hours and services will be held privately with interment to take place at Palmyra Cemetery.  Memorials in memory of Viola may be made to the Palmyra Public Library.  On line condolences may be made at www.murphyfuneralservices.com
