Violet Marie Belcher

Haines City, Florida:  Formerly of Macedon Center, NY and Glendale, AZ passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026 at the Lakeland Regional Health Center, in Lakeland, Florida at the age of 89.  Violet was born on Tuesday, February 11, 1936 to the late Joseph E. and Ethel V. "Hunt" Grimm in Canandaigua, NY. Violet had worked in the banking industry for 18 years, retired, and moved to Arizona in 1995.  While living in Arizona, she worked as a travel agent booking cruises. She had a love for shih tzu dogs and Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Violet was a loving mother, sister and good friend to many.

Violet was preceded in death by her husband John Belcher and daughter Susan Violet Howard.

Violet is survived by her six children, John W. Belcher, F. Joseph Maycock, William D. Maycock, Michael Maycock, Cheryl L. Morey, and Cynthia Weitzel; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; sister Edna Button and her family, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
