Obituary

Wayne Thomas Joseph Pappert left his place on earth in the early morning hours of 1/8/26. We are eternally grateful that his suffering is now over and he is at peace with the Lord and family and friends that have passed.

He is predeceased by his parents, George and Thelma (Havens) Pappert, his younger brother, Ronald Pappert, and his nephew, Craig James Lenzi.   He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Clementine; his four children, Michael (Phyllis) Pappert, Brenna Pappert, Jennifer Bakker, and Andrew Pappert.

He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Nicholaas and Gianna Bakker, and John Pappert. He leaves behind his sisters, Donna (Randy) Ferraro, and Marsha (James) Lenzi; as well as his adored nieces and nephews, Brett (Amanda) Lenzi, Carly Lenzi, Scott (Crystal) Ferraro, Heather Ferraro, Ryan (Sarah) Ferraro, Ronald (Robin) Pappert Jr., and Mark Campanelli.

He will be missed by many other family members and friends.

Wayne was blessed with many longtime friends from the Carter Street, Jerold Street, and Delamaine Drive areas of Rochester, NY, as well as Aquinas Institute alumni, wonderful neighbors, and co-workers from his job as a lithographer for many years.

He was a storyteller, loved to laugh and be the one to make you laugh, joke constantly with his buddies, a wonderful piano player, meticulous and a bit of a perfectionist, and could do and fix so many things! He was honest and an easy person to love because he made everyone feel important.

He loved having our Mom as his wife, and loved every single moment of being a grandfather.

As God's door swings open, he will be looking for his loved ones to share all the Zweigles white hots and jelly doughnuts he carried up on his angel wings.
