Willard C. Milliman
Macedon: Willard entered into rest Tuesday March 14, 2017 at Newark Wayne Hospital after a long battle with diabetes and heart and lung problems. Willard was born in Waterloo, NY on December 8, 1940 and was predeceased by his parents, Willard and Alice Milliman, sisters Janice Altimari and Betty Van Houten and nephew Jeffrey Roach. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Monica (Crowley) Milliman; 2 sons Andy (Stacey)
Milliman of Fairport, NY and Terrance (partner-Renee) of Seneca Falls, NY; daughter Cynthia (Brian) Dowling of Milton, VT; seven grandchildren, Kylie, Trevor, Waverly and Linley Milliman and Ryan, Taylor and Grace Dowling. Also survived by 2 brothers, Gary (Linda) Milliman and David (Nancy) Milliman; 3 sisters, Alice (Jim McGuane), Patricia (Ricky Bishop) and Sandra (David Ridley); several nieces and nephews and lifelong friends.
Willard worked for Xerox Corp as a high level manager and had a prominent role in achieving the prestigious "President's Award" with team Xerox in 1987. He retired after 28 years and finished his working career with NuKote Int., where he was a plant manager in the supply chain. His community service involved serving on the Wayne County IDA Board and as a Score Mentor for the Wayne Co. Chapter.
Family and friends may gather for a time of visitation on Friday (March 17) from 4-7 PM at the funeral chapel 1040 rte.31, Macedon, NY. Willard's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday (March 18) at St. Katharine Drexel Parish in St. Patrick's Church, 52 Main St, Macedon, NY. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Waterloo, NY at a later date. Contributions in Willard's name may be directed to Lifetime Care Hospice, www.lifetimecare.org or to American Diabetes Association, www.diabetes.org.
