William John Knapp

Lyons:  Formerly of Sodus, NY, passed away on August 20, 2018.  He was predeceased by his parents, William John and Lauretta Knapp.  Survived by his children, Stephanie (Brandon Yehl), William John (Jody Webster) and Heidi (Collin Buell); their mothers, Catherine Johnson and Sandra Knapp; brother, Jim Knapp; niece, Meghan; nephews, Joshua and Christopher.

Bill will be remembered for his keen sense of humor, his love of the arts and all things beautiful, and his zest for life.  Like the true Piscean that he was, Bill felt at home near or on the water.

An celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 8th at 2 PM at 5539 Main St., Sodus Center, a home he artistically and lovingly restored.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Sodus Bay Junior Sailing Association.
