Chloe May LaPlant, age 69, of Palmyra, NY was reunited with the love of her life on December 8, 2021. Chloe was selfless and kind, always putting others before herself in just about everything she did. Being the matriarch of the family, she took great pride in spending time with her friends and family and letting them know just how much she cared for them. She was well known for organizing crafts/projects, supplying yummy food, and creating laughter at every event she attended. She was also very proud of her work as a CNA for 32+ years, at Hill Haven, Crest Manor and most recently Fairport Baptist where she made many close friends and received honors from her peers for her dedication to her residents. Chloe was a devoted wife, mother, grandma (nana), sister, aunt and friend who will be eternally remembered and missed by anyone who got to experience her infectious smile and unconditional love for those around her.
Chloe is survived by her daughters, Candy (Karl) Watts, Ruth (Jim) Smith, Jennifer (Matt) Adams; brother William (Christine Dumas) Wheaton; grandchildren, Tricia (Chris) Mathis, John "Bubba" (Jen) Conner, Jaycie (Bryan), Austin, Megan (Caleb), Rielly (Ray) & Elaina; great grandsons, Elliot and Oliver, in-laws Sharon Wheaton, John Bray, Sam Marks, Marianne Flammia, Laura LaPlant, and Skip LaPlant (Aggie), along with many nieces, nephews, and friends
Chloe was predeceased by the love of her life, Edward "Ed" LaPlant, son Timothy Edward LaPlant, Parents Dale and Anna "Rosier" Wheaton Sr., brothers, James (Jim) Wheaton & Dale, Jr. (Bud), sisters, Susan, Mary, and Linda and Ron Rich, nephews Mathew Bray & Mark Wheaton, niece Juanita Marks, brother-in-laws, Norman, Bob & Charles LaPlant, Robert Flammia and sister-in-laws, Alice (Buckmann), Tina & Judy LaPlant.
Friends and family will be invited to gather and celebrate the life of Chloe LaPlant on Saturday, May 21 from 1-4 PM at Leonard R. Pierce Memorial Park, 5655 Goodale Rd., Canandaigua, NY 14424.
