Macedon:  Passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at the age of 91.  He was survived by his wife of 65 years, Norma "Smith" Kemp; children, Sharon Kemp, Doug Kemp, Janet (Perry) Gambino; grandchildren, Matt (Heather) Hoad, Megan (Dean) Duvall, Tim (Samantha) Patchett; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jayden, Addison, Makayla and Alivia; many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Don was a veteran of WWII where he served our country through the United States Army in both the Philippines and Japan.  He was a 70 year member of the Masonic Lodge. Don was a carpenter and partner as a self employed contractor with Tranka and Kemp.  Don was a lifelong resident of Macedon where he served his community as Mayor for many years.

Friends and family are invited to gather for a time of visitation on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 2 until 4PM, at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1040 State Route 31, Macedon, NY 14502.  A service to celebrate the life of Don will follow visitation at the funeral home.
