Harry Hartsough Obituary

Harry Lloyd Hartsough:

Farmington:   Age 87, died on Tuesday,  February 18, 2020,  at Ewing Continuing Care Center of FF Thompson Hospital, in Canandaigua, NY.  He was the son of the late Harry L. Hartsough and M. Lois Hartsough of the Town of Gorham, NY. He graduated from Gorham Central School, and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict with the 50th Signal Battalion, IX Corp. He worked for the Utica National Insurance Company for 32 years, and Ontario Insurance for over 13 years. He leaves his loving wife of 66 years, Margaret Herendeen Hartsough of Farmington.  His children are Lois M. Hartsough of Boston, MA, Hyland L. Hartsough (and his wife Anne) of Farmington, NY, Dan M. Hartsough (and his wife Maria) of Princeton, IL, and Nora Hartsough Lasher (and her husband Karl) of Harrisburg, PA.  He also leaves seven grandchildren; Deborah, Daniel, David, Harrison, Celeste, Katherine, and Jodi, and four great-grandchildren, Carson, Mia, Hudson, and John. He was pre-deceased by his sisters Elma Whyte of Newark, NY and Arlene Woodworth of Albany, NY.  A celebration of life will be held at the Farmington Friends Church on Saturday, March 7, 2020.  A reception and calling will be from 1-2:30 p.m. The Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. There is a request for no flowers. Any gifts of remembrance should be given to the Farmington Friends Church and can be mailed to 140 Church Ave., Farmington, NY 14425.
