Macedon – Judith passed away on November 9, 2021. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Hessney; siblings, Donna Armstrong, Linda Bogdon, and Charles Hiatt; daughter, Jean (Mike) Maynard; stepdaughter, Abigail Hessney; grandchildren, Wesley, Calvin, Henry, and Oliver Maynard.
Judith was born in 1947 in Malden, MA to Charles and Theresa Hiatt. She received her BS in Education from SUNY Albany and MS in Education from Pace University. Judith taught business at Sleepy Hollow High School in Tarrytown, NY for over 30 years.
Judith was a member of Fairport United Methodist Church. She made 2 trips to Mozambique, Africa, to help build a church.
A celebration of Judith’s life will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2 PM at Fairport United Methodist Church, 31 W. Church St., Fairport, NY 14450.
