Marybeth Duffy-Hasenauer
Manchester – Marybeth passed away on February 11, 2021. She was predeceased by her mother, Mary Irene Duffy.
Marybeth is survived by her husband of 36 years, Thomas Hasenauer; children, Gwen and Greg Hasenauer; father, Blake (Vita) Duffy; siblings, David (Stephanie) Duffy, Kathleen (Fred) Doell, Christopher Duffy, Peter (Sonia) Duffy, and Jane (Steve Cooper) Fisher; beloved nieces and nephews.
Marybeth was a dedicated teacher for forty years, inspiring many with her enthusiastic teaching style. She had a zest for life, but especially enjoyed reading, the outdoors, and spontaneous dancing. She was a dear friend to many with a truly loving heart.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 4-7 PM on Wednesday (February 17) at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 123 E. Jackson St., Palmyra, NY 14522. To best accommodate those who wish to attend with Covid protocol, please register a time by clicking the tab below.
A Memorial Mass for Marybeth will be offered on Thursday (February 18), 11 AM at St. Benedict Parish in St. Mary’s Church, 95 N. Main St., Canandaigua, NY 14424.
