In loving memory of Micheline McConnell
Walworth, NY
On the morning of August 27, 2023, our dear mother, grandmother and friend was taken safely home by the four winds. Her passing came quite unexpectedly, but her legacy will live in us all eternally as she was one who walked courageously with laughter, positivity, and an encouraging spirit throughout her time here with us. Born on January 4,1951, and raised in the Buffalo, New York area along with her sisters and brother, she grew up, married, and eventually made her way to the Rochester area. Here, as a single mom, she maintained a stable and always comforting household while striving to better herself and pursue her interests. She put herself through school and succeeded as both an accountant and archeologist, while never losing an ounce of dedication to her family. She had a strong connection with and love for music throughout her life which she shared often with friends and family, and influenced those around her. Micheline was also an amazing artist who loved to paint with oil and watercolor formats, along with all types of sketching. In her later years, she loved to spend time on her deck, along with gardening and traveling, and we are all so very grateful to have shared those experiences with her. She is survived by her son, John; her grandsons Michael and Sawyer; her sisters Diane and Linda; and her brother Danny, along with many dear friends and acquaintances she had along her life's journey.
Family and friends are invited to attend a service to honor her memory and celebrate her life, starting at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 Route 31, Macedon, NY 14502.
