Patricia Howard Fullerton

Webster – July 9, 2021 at age 77.  Predeceased by her husband, Walter Fullerton; her sister, Judith Howard-Setchell; her brothers, Peter Howard and Michael Howard; and her parents, Cecelia and Vere Howard.

Pat leaves her stepchildren, Dr. Lynne Fullerton of Albuquerque, NM, and Jeff Fullerton of Portland, OR; her niece, Sarah Chaffee and her family—husband, Kevin Chaffee and children, Sean and Anne, all of O’Fallon, IL. Pat also leaves her aunt, Loretta Welch and several cousins, all of Rochester, NY; and friends and neighbors, Kathleen and William Hine of Webster, NY; and John and Margie Setchell of Webster, NY.

Pat’s early career years were in marketing administration at Eastman Kodak Company. She then moved onto a period of service, which were her happiest years, including: she volunteered at the Rochester Advertising Council; she learned to type Braille; she became a hospice volunteer, and then became Hospice Volunteer Coordinator for what would become Lifetime Hospice of Rochester. 

Following this, Pat became fully involved in her counselling service, Fullerton East Associates.

Pat was also the vocalist for a popular Rochester-area Dixieland band, The Smugtown Stompers, for about ten years. 

Pat loved life. Her greatest joys came from the simplest pleasures … the warmth of the sun; a loving smile; a chickadee’s song; children’s laughter; fresh coffee and a good book; the fragrance of newly-mown grass—all drops of joy. She drank them in. They filled her cup. She loved her faith. She loved her people, their humor, the good times, and the grand get-togethers.

All services will be private, per Pat’s request. Instead, she asks that you enjoy some music. Do something kind. Smile. Say thanks.
