Rhett Butler
Palmyra – Rhett battled Alzheimer’s for 13 years and gracefully passed into the loving arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ on September 2, 2023 at age 80. He was predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Lorraine Butler.
Rhett is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sandra Butler; daughters, Stephanie (Frank) Page and Kristin (Jim) Shalinsky; grandchildren, Breann (Dan) Morris, Ashley, Joshua, Jacob, and Macky Shalinsky; great grandchildren, Ava and Carter Morris, and Scarlett Shalinsky; siblings, Ron Butler and Terri (Randy) Allen; several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Rhett’s life will be held on Tuesday, September 19th at 4 PM at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 Rte. 31, Macedon, NY 14502.
