Ronald A. Spencer April 12th, 1950 - February 22nd, 2024
Ronald is predeceased by parents George and Margret Spencer.  He is survived by: his wife of 50 years, Karen J. Spencer, son Jacob (Rebecca), daughter Rhonda Lee (Nate); grandchildren Zachary (Zachman), Courtney (Marcus), Jordan (Ray), Benjamin, Joshua, and Ashley; nephew Spencer (Melita,Otto); siblings Leila (Reid 02/10/2023) Terry, Scott (Brenda), Mark (Karen), Steven (Pat), Lisa Rae (Jane), Eric (Krisi), Amy Lynn; as well as many, many other nieces and nephews.
Ronald was a very simple man. He was easy-going, and humble. He absolutely loved being a grandpa. Ron loved the Buffalo Bills, family game nights (cards, Yahtzee, marbles, and dominoes), golf, and anything involved with nature, including watching deer and birds. He also loved fishing and reading. He enjoyed playing the lottery, visiting casinos with his wife, and participating in Let It Ride tournaments. In retirement, he also enjoyed rolling yarn for his wife's crocheting projects while watching tv. He was beloved by all he knew and given many nicknames including Spanky, Ronnie, and Little Grandpa.
There will be a celebration of life open for Ronald's family and friends on Saturday February 24th at 2:00pm located at the American Legion (Marion Memorial Post #1430) 4141 Witherden Road Marion, NY 14505. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to:
