Palmyra: Yvonne passed away peacefully on June 4, 2021 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by her parents, Roy and Josephine Jones and sister Barbra Jones Brown. Yvonne is survived by her husband Charles of 61 years;  daughters Cindy (Bob) Surline, Debbie (Mike) Wyatt and Pam (Jeff) Gambrill; brother Donald Jones; grandchildren Laura, Cortney, Kalie, Amanda and Shane; great grandchildren Evan, Ava and Addison.

Yvonne was a passionate dog lover. Over her 30 year career as Executive Secretary at Lollypop Farm Yvonne brought home many “misfit” dogs with the intention of rehabilitating them and sending them back for adoption. Of course, none of them ever left her home. It brings us great joy to know that she has been reunited with all of them at the Rainbow Bridge. We are so very grateful for the kindness, care and compassion given over the past 4 years by the doctors, nurses and entire staff at the Wilmot Cancer Center.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a time of visitation on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from noon until 2PM where a service to celebrate the life of Yvonne will follow at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1040 State Route 31, Macedon, NY 14502.  Private burial will take place at the Palmyra Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of a donation in memory of Yvonne to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450. To light a candle, leave a condolence, or to upload a photo please visit www.murphyfuneralservices.com.
