It is a difficult thing for you kids but I know you have many great memories of your father just as we do. He was a consummate competitor in all things, business and pleasure. Our paths were intertwined in both areas and he was a friend in both. He certainly started me on a competitive path by selling me my first race car. The race community as a whole was better because of his participation. He will be fondly remembered by many.

My condolences to Barry's family. I was employed at Paris Budlong Esse back in the 60's and my years working for Barry were memorable. May Barry be at peace.
