This is heartbreaking. I served in the USMC with "ski" in 1994 in Okinawa. I was only 20 and he took me under his wing. So funny and passionate. I never saw him since 1996. For some strange reason he crossed my mind tonight and I sought to look him up for the first time in 20 years. I find he's passed on. I don't know why I thought of him just now after all these years. I am so sorry he has left his loved ones behind. I know he must have been cherished. We loved him for the short time we knew him. I just informed 3 other Marines who were under his charge in 94.
