All burial vaults offered by Murphy Funeral Services are supplied by the Wilbert Burial Vault Company. Vaults will vary in cost depending upon the type of lining and reinforcement.

A burial vault is a protective outer container for the casket. It provides the casket with superior, long-lasting protection against subsoil elements and the weight of heavy cemetery maintenance equipment. * NOTE: There is no New York State Law that requires the use of a burial vault or outer interment receptacle. Most local cemeteries, however, require the usage of a vault or grave liner as a condition for earth burial.
