The Luke Family: Very sad to read about Merle's passing. He was a great guy and like the entire Luke Family, wonderful neighbors. I can remember as a kid Merle would park his rig on Knickerbocker Rd, in front of his house, open the back and hand us all watermelons he was hauling. He was generous, very funny and it was a pleasure to know him. Rest in peace Merle.

So sorry to hear of this. I remember having many good times when we visited with the Rounds family. I especially remember him rooting for me to have my parents get me my own phone. He was so funny.

What a terrific man Meryl was. My girls and I loved visiting with him and Margaret. I stopped to see him a few days ago, he responded to me. I know he knew me. Love you Meryl... Til we meet again.
